Raising funds for Velindre Cancer Centre Stepping Stones Appeal.  Our own Velindre Ambassador, Town & Country Hotel’s MD Julian Hitchcock and his team “The Bear Back Riders” will take on a 390km bike ride from the stunning Yosemite National Park to San Francisco.  Led by 3 Welsh Rugby Captains, Jonathan Davies, Martyn Williams and Mike Hall they’ll be finishing the ride by crossing the iconic Golden Gate Bridge.

December 2011 Update:  All the honey our bees produced this year has been bought, however we still have candles and hand cream available to buy at the hotel.  Here’s hoping 2012 is a successful year for our buzzzy bees.

August 2011:  We’re excited to announce that after the hard work of bee keeper John Milgate, from Bee Fruitful, we have our first honey harvest from our Coed-y-Mwstwr Hotel bees.

This fabulous product will be featuring on the breakfast table and also in our menus.  It doesn’t get more local than this!

We have our own labelled 12oz jars which you can buy from the hotel and we’re hoping to add other bee by-products such as candles and hand cream in the near future.
